Review of “Dragon Prey”

Dragon Prey: A Cloud Lands NovellaDragon Prey: A Cloud Lands Novella by Hannah Steenbock
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A fascinating look into the world where humans and dragons are still strangers to each others.
And considering the title of the book, I’ll leave it up to you who’s winning so far.

This was a really good read, with lots of action, a great pace, real people to believe in, and of course: dragons. If you think any dragons is a good dragon, think again. Read up on the things Sidren and her tribe face and then you’ll know.

Definitely a commendable book for people into fantasy, dragons and human(ish) relations.

And it’s out! Hilda, book 20. A Book Of Dragons!

Dear reader,

Yes, yes, yes, you can’t believe how dear you are to me.

Here it is.

Book 20 in the series. TWENTY!! And you’re to blame. I mean thank! Without your reading support, your questions and likes, I would never have gotten this far in the life of Hilda and William.

It’s one thing to write a book, yet another to find that people like it a lot and are waiting for more. That, dear reader, touches my writer’s heart more than I can express…

Book 21 (do you see that? 21!) is in the making. Carol’s working on the editing while I’m still working on getting more errors out before she laughs too hard (oh, the shame). The book has no title yet, nor a cover, but we’re full steam ahead. (Pulls cable, fog horn sounds, cable breaks, fog horn falls silent. Drat. Carol! I need a new fog horn cable!)

You can find a Book Of Dragons at the usual suspects, like Smashwords, Amazon, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.nl, Amazon.it, Amazon.fr, Amazon.es, Amazon.ca, Amazon.au, Barnes&Noble, Apple iTunes and Kobo.

Hilda. Book 20. Really. It’s going to be here soon.

Dear reader,

Believe it. I’m not adding the “or not” bit because there’s no escape possible. Hilda’s (and William’s) twentieth adventure is going to hit the e-shelves soon.

Soon in this case is October 1st. Yes, oddly enough it will be available on a Sunday but that’s fine, I’m sure.

Let me show you something of the book. The cover image. Then you know the title of the book too.

Yep. There be dragons. I’m sure you’re curious what this book is about. Well… how about this:

Yes. Dragons.

They play a big role in this new book in the Hilda (and William) series. We’ll find out what can happen with a certain book, we’ll learn a surprise fact about King Walt and Queen Velma, and many characters you already know return to the party.

Is that enough to tease you? Are you drooling already? Or is this quite the deception? Feel free to let me know, either in a comment, through my contact page, on Facebook, or use the old fashioned way: via e-mail!
